Sources have confirmed that Marc Diakiese will be returning to the octagon to put his 12-0 record on the line against Drakkar Klose. Klose has a record of 6-0-1, 4 of his wins came by way of knockout. Diakiese will be the toughest test of Klose’s career to date. 3-0 in the UFC, Diakiese starched his last opponent during a 30 second flurry in London. Klose has made only one appearance for the UFC which resulted in a win by Unanimous decision against Devin Powell in January.
The fight will take place on the TUF 25 Finale card on July 7, 2017 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The card will also feature fights such as: Elias Theodorou vs. Brad Tavares, Gray Maynard vs. Teruto Ishihara, and Steve Bosse vs. Jared Cannonier.
Cage Prophet predicts that Diakiese will be too much for Klose to handle at this point in his budding UFC career. This will be another fight for Diakiese to continue his win streak and build his name. I don’t think the UFC is ready to give him the full push quite yet, but Diakiese is a very talented fighter that the UFC is going to be building. He is going to be a big name in the coming years. This is an experience and confidence build fight for Diakiese, and it’s the correct fight for him to have right now. Klose has promise of a great career yet to come, we just believe Diakiese will be too much for him at this point.
Prediction: Marc Diakiese by KO/TKO
